AJGA Rankings

The American Junior Golf Association runs a national junior tournament schedule and publishes rankings from it.

What it is

The American Junior Golf Association, usually shortened to AJGA, is a nonprofit organisation that conducts junior golf tournaments across the United States. Its stated focus is developing junior golfers pursuing college golf.

Who it covers

Junior golfers who play in AJGA tournaments. The schedule is aimed at high school age players competing for college places, and entry into many AJGA events is performance based rather than open.

How a junior becomes ranked

By playing AJGA events. Ranking position reflects how a player finishes in those tournaments and the quality of the field they finished against. AJGA publishes the current eligibility and calculation rules on its own site, and they change from season to season, so treat the AJGA site as the authority rather than any summary including this one.

This is an independent organisation that operates separately from the tour. Whether a given event on our schedule is counted by this system is determined by that organisation, not by us. For rankings, eligibility, and current rules, go to the source.
